A real redaction
A black rectangle placed in a word processor or a PDF reader often leaves the text underneath, which copy and paste recovers. Here, the redacted text no longer exists in the file.
Verified numbers
IBANs, French social security numbers, SIRET: detected and checked by their check digits. The names of parties and third parties are redacted everywhere in one action.

The framework
In France, publishing court decisions as open data, provided for by the Digital Republic Act of 7 October 2016, comes with the redaction of the details that identify people. For exhibits, your own judgement applies. Klarmask helps you carry out the decision to redact; it does not make it for you.
