The service

Klarmask is a document redaction and pseudonymisation tool that works in your browser. Documents are processed on your device; the site's publisher has no access to them and receives no copy.

Your responsibility

You remain solely responsible for the documents you process and for what you share. Detection is an aid: it can miss data or suggest some wrongly. The review and the decision to redact are yours.

The publisher never sees the documents: it can neither check nor correct a redaction. A redacted or pseudonymised document can remain identifying through its context; it is up to you to reread it before sharing it.

No warranty

The service is provided as is. The publisher strives to keep it available but does not guarantee that it works on all devices and browsers. It cannot be held liable for any loss of unsaved work, nor for the use made of the documents produced.

Use

You agree to use the tool only on documents you are entitled to process.
